Creating a Pair
Pairs link specific pieces of content, like a tweet, video, or article, to an existing Trend, making that content tradeable. When you create a Pair, you're connecting a piece of content to a parent Trend's market, allowing others to trade on it.
How to Create a Pair
Navigate to the Trend page where you want to create the Pair
Click Create Pair to open the Pair creation interface
Paste the content URL in the Link field
Wait for the content to load and review the suggested name, ticker, and description
Edit the suggested metadata if needed
Optionally, set an Initial Buy amount to purchase up to 5% of the token supply at creation
Click Pair to create the submarket
Sign the transaction in your wallet when prompted
NOTE: Creating a Pair is free — you only pay Solana network fees.
IMPORTANT: The linked URL cannot be changed after creation. Make sure the content is correct and publicly accessible before signing.

Tips for Creating a Good Pair
Choose content that's timely or relevant to the parent Trend — viral moments, breaking news, and strong opinions tend to generate the most trading interest
Use the full, direct URL to the content. Shortened links (bit.ly, t.co) may not load correctly
Make sure the content is publicly accessible, private or login-required pages can't be previewed
Review the suggested name, ticker, and description before creating. A quick edit can make your Pair more discoverable
